Note that anopheles also has an otherfeatures database that stores the EST alignments and estgenes. This has the same schema and schema version as the core db.

We plan to eventually switch to having an otherfeatures db like this for all species: this will make it easier to update the est alignments & genome-based clustering (aka estgenes).
